Actually, the question isn't weird. It's a stained-Granite (http://tanbrown.org) question. Thing is, the stained Granite (http://tanbrown.org) in question is a grave-marker, not a household surface. I'm a big skeptical of the info I've received from that industry regarding this problem. The answers on this site seem to be knowledgable--so, please? Help? The Stone (http://g603.net) is gray Granite (http://tanbrown.org) --I was told quarried in the state of Georgia in the USA. It is polished on all surfaces except for the sides, which are rough-hewn. The Stone (http://g603.net) was installed less than a year ago. My sister put some artificial flowers in the two matching Granite (http://tanbrown.org) vases on the sides of the marker and (http://maplered.com) they have faded a RED color onto a significant area of the Stone (http://g603.net) , both on the polished and (http://maplered.com) rough-hewn surfaces. The flowers were in place for almost 4 weeks until I discovered the damage and (http://maplered.com) removed them yesterday. Other than taking a moistened tissue and (http://maplered.com) rubbing the surface I have done nothing to try and (http://maplered.com) clean the Granite (http://tanbrown.org) lest I make the problem worse. I really hope you can help.
